Raised in a household fueled by adventure and nourished by art, Sinéad was born with a penchant for the creative. However, it wasn’t until reading the manga Paradise Kiss that her love of fashion finally clicked and she decided to pursue a degree in Apparel Design. While her focus was primarily creative design, she also had the opportunity to advance her skills in technical and functional design through projects for NASA, Blue House, and Signs of Hope. In the Summer of 2016, she was fortunate enough to travel to Hong Kong to work alongside Cheryl Leung, CEO and designer for SAU LEE. There, she got hands-on experience in running an international fashion business, including sourcing, logistics, and behind-the-scenes of manufacturing. Upon returning home, she worked for local designer, bespoke specialist, and Project Runway contestant Samantha Rei, assisting in production while improving her technical skills. Aided by her continued mentorship, she realized her dream of starting the trustworthy and ethical label you see here today.
